Deacon Rose’s spiritual foundation was rooted within the Churches of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. for the last 34 years of his life. He was baptized October 16, 1994 and shortly after he received the precious gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. He has also been a faithful, tithe paying member at the Refuge Temple Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. under the Leadership of the Elder Jerry Keith Rose.

 

Deacon Rose is the son of Elder Jerry K. Rose and Sister LaSandra B. Rose who currently serves as Pastor of the Refuge Temple Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. He is also the grandson of Mother Margaret Alease Brown who served as the Woman’s Council President of the Virginia Northern Diocese of COOLJC for over 35 years. Deacon Rose has a brother, Elder Gerald Winslow Rose, who serves as the Founder & Pastor of the Word of Truth Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc.

 

While serving in the field of non-profits, Deacon Rose has also served in many capacities within his church community such as the Youth Department President at the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. in Florence, South Carolina he also served as the Youth Department President at The Temple of Refuge International Fellowship Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. Deacon Rose currently serves at the ABYPU President of Refuge Temple Church of Petersburg, VA. Deacon Rose currently serves as the Virginia Northern Diocese ABYPU Vice-President. Deacon Rose was appointed by Elder Marcus McCoy in 2017 as the Executive Director of Logistics & Corporate Sponsorship.   Deacon Rose currently serves as the Chief of Staff & Director of Logistics for the COOLJC International Congress. While working in ministry he was appointed and hired to serve as the National Convention Planning Committee Chairman who was in charge of the planning and execution of all State, National, and Local Conventions, Workshops, Retreats and Seminars for the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. Deacon Rose worked diligently within the National Organization with working on the International Congress and International Convention Security Team. Deacon Rose also has served as the Official Photographer of the COOLJC International Congress as well as the COOLJC International Convention.

 

While serving in so many capacities, Deacon Rose’s strength is Corporate Fund Raising. Deacon Rose has a tremendous track record of being a National Fundraising Advocate to ensure that ministries and organizations are effective with operational expenses, scholarship distributions and global leadership training and development

 

Deacon Rose has not only had experience working in the Professional Corporate America but he has had much success working with many national known non-profit organizations such as planning of North Carolina National Advancement of Colored People State Conventions.

 

Deacon Rose has also had the privilege to serve as the National Convention Chairman of the Pentecostal United Churches of Christ, Apostolic, Inc., for over four (4) years with a success of increasing the number of participants, increasing the amount of registered conventions attendees, managed all vendors, planned and organized the conventions schedules and designed all convention materials.
